Preregistered Classes

We are a drop-in studio but occasionally we have special sessions that require registration All of the sessions listed below are offered by preregistration. Sorry, but we do not offer make up sessions, substitutions or refunds in the case you miss a class in your preregistered session. If you prefer to drop-in randomly to various classes and times, please purchase one of our punch passes or monthly memberships. If you tell us at the time of registration that you can not make a class in the series, we may discount you accordingly.

BEGIN FROM THE BEGINNING YOGA

Description: Starting from the very basics. Dedicated to those who have very little to absolutely no knowledge of yoga practice. This program will teach you the main foundational poses that are found in any Hatha yoga practice. There will be an emphasis on safe practice, modifications for poses, breath work and basic yoga philosophy. The class will have a slow pace with a mix of hands on practice and discussion. 

 

 

If you purchase this session, any of the classes from the drop-in schedule may be attended for only $10, as long as they fall between the start date and end date of your session!


PRENATAL YOGA:

WE CURRENTLY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING SCHEDULED

Our prenatal yoga class provides a nurturing environment for women. Through yoga postures, guided relaxation and breath awareness you will prepare the body and mind for the birth, and at the same time relieve the discomfort and stress associated with pregnancy.

These classes will leave you feeling strong, relaxed and more connected to yourself and your baby. No Yoga experience is required and you can join the class when you are ready. Please consult your doctor or midwife.

If you miss the preregistration, you may drop-in for any prenatal session for $20, please text before 2pm the day before if you are dropping in!

DESCRIPTION: Yoga is excellent for nourishing the mind and body throughout the life span and at times we'll find that we need something challenging yet gentle to keep us young in mind, body and spirit.  This class uses a chair for additional support. Most of the exercises are done while sitting, leaning, or holding onto a chair. This makes it a great way to practice yoga for people that aren’t otherwise too active in their lives and/or have limited mobility. Gentle movement encourages better circulation, while weight bearing standing poses are a safe way to help build bone density. Awaken areas of the body that have been inactive, soothe aching joints, and strengthen muscles, while you calm your mind with this enjoyable practice. Any level of practitioner can benefit from this class. Be sure to tell your teacher about any physical limitations or illness so that modifications can be offered for a more comfortable experience.

*Our space is ground level, so nice easy access for seniors!
